As a hotel guest, you are permitted to drive into Fischstraße, alongside other residents and delivery traffic. You can stop briefly opposite the hotel for loading and unloading. Parking is strictly prohibited there, but the public order officers are usually generous.

You’ll find a free bicycle parking space in our courtyard. Your bike will be safely stored there, protected from burglary. The courtyard is adjacent to our breakfast room and is surrounded by a wall on three sides. This area is accessible only to our guests.

Arriving before regular check-in time? No problem! Feel free to drop by. If your room is ready, you can move in before 3:00 PM. If your room isn’t ready yet, you can always leave your luggage with us.

If you arrive by train, you can take a taxi or bus to the hotel. Both the taxi stand and the Central Bus Station (ZOB) are located directly at Lübeck Central Station. If no taxi is available, you can contact the Lübeck radio taxis at +49 451 8 11 22.
Take city bus lines 3, 30, and 40, which depart from the main station/ZOB, for one stop to the „Holstentor“ stop. From there, it is only about 100 meters to Fischstraße to your hotel, The Layhead B&B. You can view the Lübeck city bus network here:

From Lübeck Airport, you can take either the regional train or a bus to the main train station. Taxis are also available.
From Hamburg Airport, first take the S1 to Hamburg Central Station and from there continue on to Lübeck by regional express train.
